Terms of service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Draft. These terms are being finalised. If you have any questions before signing up, email hello@yourbrand.co.uk.
1. Who we are
Omni ("we", "us") is a trading name of [COMPANY NAME], registered in England and Wales, company number [NUMBER], registered office [ADDRESS]. Omni is a service for businesses, not consumers.
2. What you get
- An AI receptionist that answers calls forwarded to it, answers questions using the information you give us, takes booking requests and messages, and sends them to you by your chosen alerts.
- We set it up for you from your onboarding form and help with changes afterwards.
- Booking requests are requests: you confirm them with your customer. The receptionist never confirms appointments on your behalf.
3. Prices and payment
- A one-off setup fee and a monthly subscription for your plan, as shown at checkout. Both are taken by PayPal when you sign up; the subscription then renews monthly.
- Each plan includes a number of call minutes a month. Extra minutes are charged at the rate shown on our website; we'll tell you when you reach 80% and 100% of your minutes.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
4. Cancelling
- Plans are monthly rolling. You can cancel any time in your PayPal account or by emailing us. Your receptionist keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for.
- The setup fee covers work we do straight away, so it isn't refundable once we've started setting you up.
- We may suspend the service if payments fail, or end it with notice if these terms are seriously broken.
5. Your part
- Give us accurate, up-to-date information about your business, services, prices and hours, and tell us when it changes.
- Set up call forwarding from your number and keep your alerts (email, text or WhatsApp) working.
- Check and follow up on booking requests and messages.
- Use the service lawfully, including telling your customers how you handle their information.
6. What AI can and can't do
- The receptionist is honest that it's an AI. Like any phone service, it can occasionally mishear names, numbers or details, and it relies on the information you give us.
- It is not an emergency service. It's told to direct genuine emergencies to 999 or the relevant emergency line, and to put urgent calls through to you if you've asked for that.
- We don't guarantee that every call will be answered (for example during an outage at our phone or AI providers), but we'll fix problems as quickly as we can.
7. Your customers' information
When your receptionist takes calls, we process your callers' details on your behalf. We act as your data processor and you are the controller. We use trusted providers (for calls, AI and messaging) to run the service, keep data secure, and only use it to provide the service to you. Our data processing terms and privacy policy explain this in more detail.
8. Liability
We're not liable for lost business, lost profits or indirect losses, including missed or incorrectly recorded bookings. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
9. General
We may update these terms; we'll email you about significant changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
